A rare French Art Deco ceramic & enameled "Boule Coloniale" (Jungle Vase) ceramic vase designed by, Maurice Paul Chevallier for Faïences de Longwy decorated in a crackle glaze of vibrant colors and gilt, with a frieze of exotic foliage. The vase is representing the different vegitatation which was found in all the occupied French colonies of the period. The vase is signed Longwy/F3167/D5660/5W and molded 3167.”
