An early 20th century American Art Nouveau sterling silver and wood picture frame by, Tiffany & Co. with hand chased scroll motif throughout, without monogramming, retains its original wood and sterling back. The frame is marked "Tiffany & Co. Makers Sterling Silver 21765A M" (MARK OF TIFFANY & CO., NEW YORK, 1868-1915

The frame was produced early 20th century - circa 1910 and under the direction of John C. Moore II as indicated by the stylized "M" as marked on the back. Edward C. Moore's grandson, John C. Moore II (1864-1946), was president of Tiffany & Co. from 1907 to 1938, and served as chairman until his death in 1946
