An extremely rare and Important Monumental American Art Nouveau blown glass Tiffany Favrile "Peacock Feather" Vase by, Tiffany Studios decorated with all-over stylized and further iridescent peacock feather design against a mauve-butterscotch iridescent background. The vase is signed, "Louis C. Tiffany D1218" - circa 1900

The above vase was acquired outside of Paris, FR from a family that it has remained in since its acquisition in 1900. It is believed that the vase was exhibited at the Salons of Paris Exp. 1900 of where it was acquired by the family of which it descended through. Vases of this size are exceptionally rare and not many produced. Vases of this size and caliber were usually exhibited at various expositions of where TIffany Studios had exhibited at the Turn of the century specifically being able to showcase the firms best pieces.
