Ingeborg Lundin (Swedish, 1921 - 1992)
A Swedish Mid-Century Modern blown glass clear "Apple" vase by, Ingeborg Lundin for Orrefors. The "Apple" is one of the icons of Swedish and Scandinavian glass design. Ingeborg Lundin joined Orrefors in 1947 as the first female designer to be hired by the company and in 1957 she won a gold medal for "Apple" at the Triennale di Milano 1957. The vase is signed, "ORREFORS Expo D 32-57 Ingeborg Lundin"
