Franz Xavier Bergman (Austrian, 1861 – 1936)
An Austrian Art Nouveau polychromed bronze & marble Orientalist sculpture "The Palm Leaf Dancer" by, Franz Bergman of an Arab woman under a Palm Leaf desending down carpeted stairs a top its original marble base. The bronze retains its original poly-chromed finish and is in good condition with age appropriate wear. The sculpture is signed with the Bergman mark displaying the letter B within a cartouche.
