Description

An important and rare American Art Nouveau patinated bronze sculpture "The Star" by, Harriet Whitney Frishmuth of a nude female reaching up towards the stars. The Star is a top its original black belgium marble base and retains its original patina. The sculpture is signed, "Harriet W. Frishmuth ©1918" further signed, "Gorham Co. Founders Q505" and numbered "#277"
