Description

An important and rare Early 20th Century American Art Nouveau cast and patinated bronze sculpture "The Star" by, Harriet Whitney Frishmuth of a nude female dancer reaching up towards the stars. "The Star" is a top its original black belgium marble base and retains its original patina. The sculpture is signed, "Harriet W. Frishmuth ©1918" further signed, "Gorham Co. Founders Q505" and numbered "#36"
