Belted Turtleback Tile Table Lamp Base

An American Art Nouveau bronze and glass "Belted Turtleback Tile" table lamp base by, Tiffany Studios. It is decorated with a band of iridized green-blue turtleback tiles midway through the base. The base is set into three organic arms leading into a round foot and further retaining its original lighting conversion which is fitted wth three "GeCo" paddle switches. The base internally illuminated. (original) and retains its original rich brown-red patina with subtle green overtones throughout. Once The belted turtlebacks are illumionated they cast a beautiful rich emerald green color. The base is signed, "Tiffany Studios New York 6882" The base retains its original 3.25 in. wheel and can accomadate a 16 inch. diameter shade.
