Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848 - 1933)
An American Art Nouveau patinated bronze "Tobacco Leaf" table lamp base by, Tiffany Studios. The base is decorated with an organic baseplate graduating into a single stem leading into a blossoming tobbaco leaf . The base retains its original patina throughout, original three light conversion with three original GeCo paddle sockets, riser, and 3.25 in. wheel are all original as well. The base is signed, Tiffany Studios New York 29938" This base can accomadate a 16 in. - 17 in. leaded glass shade.
