Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848 - 1933)
An American Art Nouveau cast bronze "Tree Trunk" table lamp base by, Tiffany Studios which resembles a tree with exposed roots at the base and nicely detailed shaft resembling the trunk of a tree finished in its all original brown-red patina with subtle green overtones graduating into a six light cluster. The base retains its original period "Perkins" paddle switches and its original 5.25 in. wheel. The base is signed, "Tiffany Studios New York 553"
