Franz Xavier Bergman (Austrian, 1861 – 1936)
An Austrian cold-painted bronze of a cobra snake coiled with its head fanned out and tongue extended. The tongue is long enough to intercept a pocket-watch as photographed. The bronze is signed with the Bergman Foundry Mark and further signed, "AUSTRIA"
