
An Authentic and Rare American Art Nouveau "Moorish Six-Light "Lily" and "Turtle-Back" Tile Ceiling Light by, Tiffany Studios decorated with six iridescent gold lily shades set with in a belt of iriescent orange turtle back tiles and twisted rope decoration arounf the flush mount plate.. The ceiling retains its original patina and period porcelian sockets by, GeCo. (General Electric Co.) The light displays well and is ready to hang. circa 1900.

four shades are engraved "L.C.T. Favrile" and two shades are engraved "L.C.T."

Condition:
Overall very good condition. The ceiling mount is beautifully executed with fine detailing and a complex composition. The bronze surfaces with some scattered extremely minor surface scratches, abrasions and discolorations consistent with age and gentle handling and retains its all original patuna. With some light surface soiling to the recessed contours and some occasional scattered minute flecks of white house paint. The socket arms with some wear and occasional minor losses to the patina where the arms bend. The belt of “turtle-back” tiles are all original and undisturbed. The light retains its original porcelian GeCo (General Electric Co.) period candelabrum sockets. All six shades are in great condition as well as the turtleback tiles showing no damage. The ceiling light has been re-electrified and is ready to be installed.
